Yet another Trial Class...

Attended a Gymboree trial class (level 2) yesterday afternoon at 5pm. Compared to Kampong Playhouse, I think Gymboree @ Vivo is much bigger and more equiped. With similar musical tunes and play along games, Daddy and Mummy prefer Gymboree's setup. However, they did not sign me up for the classes as Mummy thought we should check out another playgroup class before deciding to enrol me.

Gymboree @ Vivo - Located next to Marchie on Level 3 Vivocity. Membership @ S$50 p.a. + 12 lessons @ S$348 (45 mins ea.)

391 Hits since 1st March 07!

Not sure if the data from BlogPatrol is correct, but 391 visitors to my blog in 3 weeks is flattering. I think Daddy is getting jealous of me as his moneysense blog has gotten less than miserable hits!

To Dad: Andrea will still be proud of you. Hope to see your blog updates soon, especially after having your new business title as "CitiGold Investment Consultant". Congrates!

I sincerely thank all my visitors for your kind support to this blog. Without your participation in reading and writing comments on my posted articles, these outstanding readership number would not be such.

Kudoz to all of you! :D

Banner

Upon reading comments by Kieran's Mummy, Daddy decided to do some touch-up on my banner. Mummy chose the picture (taken 2 days ago) while Daddy did his "photo-imaging magic". Finally, the one at the top of this webby was created.

Here are the initial designs:

The 1st design was using a photo taken when i was 3 weeks old. Those who received my 1st month lunch invitation should find this image familiar.

The 2nd design was modified from Baby's Closet banner; the photo was taken when i was 6months old.

New Layout & Header Banner

Daddy spend the whole sunday morning revamping my blog's layout. He wanted a "clean look", so he included an image which was taken when i was 3 weeks old on the header banner. Comments are welcome!

Happenings for the week....

Two parties in a row.....

Today (9th March) is Daddy's Grandma birthday party, we were supposed to be at Great Grandma's place @ Ghim Moh by 11:30am. As usual, Mummy took her own sweet time dolling herself & in the end, we only left home at 11:35am, reaching by 12:00pm.

After waiting for about 1.5 hours, we decided to leave for Aidan's full month party (Auntie Angeline's newborn party @ Pasir Ris). The sad thing was Daddy and Mummy did not get to eat the sumptuous lunch buffet arranged by Great Grandma due to some unfortunate event (the caterer was 2 hours late).

I was not exactly comfortable meeting so many strangers at Aidan's party; guess i am shy... hee..... Daddy and Mummy took turns pacifying me while they gobbled their lunch. It was only towards the end of the party did i start to show my sociable side.

My 1st Trial Class @ Tanglin Shopping Centre

Mummy and Daddy arranged for a trial class for me at Kampong Playhouse on Saturday afternoon. Thanks to Auntie Crystal (Issac's mummy), the class was free. I enjoyed the company of Joven, Joshua, Mark, Issac, Keith & Ethan and of course, Ms Patricia (the pretty yet not so young coordinator). We had fun playing with egg-shaped shakers, african drums, rubber balls and a huge colourful parachute! Wow...... check out some of the pictures taken below:

Personal Bed

After squeezing with Mummy & Daddy for the past 7 months in their Queen size bed, I finally got to sleep in my personal bed, bought for me since August 2007. Though I prefer warm cuddles from them, it still feels great having your own privacy sometimes. :D

New Toy

While spending the whole weekend at Jurong (because Daddy needed to attend a dinner event), I managed to spend more quality time with Granny; i only get to see her for half a weekend every week. During our shopping at Jurong point, Granny bought me a new toy for my stroller. Check this out while i sign off this post for the week. Stay tuned......

Itchy Fingers

Dunno why this post came at this point of time... guess Daddy decided that i should come clean on my bad deeds before christmas 2008...

On CNY's eve, Daddy and i made our trip on foot (while i was sitting comfortably i my BMW) to Centrepoint from Grandma's apartment on River Valley Close. While waiting for Mummy milking herself, Daddy kept himself busy by cleaning & feeding me at the top floor of Centrepoint Shopping Centre. Being a workaholic like Mummy and Daddy, i worked hard adding my little touch of floral arrangement creativity on a pot of plant near to the bench where we sitted.

I am proud to present my latest creation... Botanic Destructo! :P

My 1st Lunar New Year

Time flies, I am 2 years old in the lunar calendar now... funny right?

This is my 1st official year collecting Ang Baos during Chinese New Year even though Mummy collected on my behalf when i was still in her tummy. But I am unhappy that one particular Aunt/Uncle from my Granny side forgotten about me.... cos i had one less Ang Bao from them this year.

Mummy said that i should be contented and not pursue the issue cos it may only be $4 worth anyway. No point getting all flustered over small money... hee.... mummy rich rich leh..... Daddy on the other hand volunteered to top up $4 into my CNY pot. :D

Nevertheless, this is a fruitful year & i wish for many fruitful years to come! :D

New Videos

To prove my efficiency over my parents, i have decided to add another 2 videos to entertain my fans.... here comes Andrea in Action!

Disappointing Adults

Not that i wanna complaint, but i think i have the most ADORABLE parents in the universe. Daddy & Mummy started off updating my blog on a daily basis, then weekly and now, coming close to only once a month. Sigh.... Such a disappointment!

To kick off this entree, i decided to show you my 1st crawl caught on video. :)

Since i am merely a six month old baby, i shall cut short this blogging thingy with some great pictures + a great ringtone for download!

Ending of Week 3 in Jan 08

It's been a while since I last updated here..... many events happened but Daddy has got no time to update. During the past 2 weeks, I've seen doctor 3 times already!!! Mummy's pocket now one big hole already. Twice because of the oil gland inflammation in my eye lid. Then the most recent one being yesterday. Thanks to Daddy, I got runny nose and coughing.... *sniff*... (Mummy seems next in the queue to get infected!)

Kan Chiong Mummy decided not to wait any longer so I was whisked to the doctor and now I have to take the green bitter liquid for my cough and flu... :(

Unfortunately poor Mummy had to nurse me and pamper me while I vent my frustration at the endless green liquid being put into my mouth. And when I vent my frustration, poor Daddy got plenty of earful from Mummy.... no wonder Daddy's ear got pimples.... too much warnings and scolding from Mummy... haha...

Anyway, i have the following story to tell to start the ball rolling:

The DECEASED PINKY....

All of you are aware that i had a pinky beanie who had accompanied me for the past many months right? the one who partnered me to my last AH YAT ABALONE outing? Well, it was well & intact till Grandma decided to perform a bubble bath for her. Afraid that she will not dry properly, she decided to cut her open....... that was the last i saw beanie....

The RESURRECTED PINKY....

After missing my pinky for quite a number of days, Daddy decided to perform a miracle... and Tadaz..... PINKY came back! Not only was it back, it came back to me with a difference, can you spot the difference? No prize for guessing the right answer....

Sigh..... and Daddy thought i was stupid.....

Auntie Carole's Birthday Lunch...

Hee.... Daddy's elder sister grew older 2 weeks ago; we went to a chinese restaurant near the west end of singapore (Arena Country Club) to have Dim Sum buffet.... and as usual, i am only awarded the best seat in the house - to watch them eat..... @#%*&#@%...

The Wedding Dinner on 16 Jan 08 (Merchant Court, Swissotel)

This week I attended the wedding of my cousin, Mummy's nephew, who happens to be about the same age as Mummy. I have lost count of the number of wedding dinners attended but this was the one i made a statement..... I am LOUD when i am in a grouchy mood, so dun mess with me!

The Beauty Smile...

This is the best shot (for Jan 08) taken by Daddy with his K800i.... and of course, the model has to be.....

Happy New Year 2008!

Happy New Year 2008! I'm now one year older.... but grandma says that according to the lunar age, I'm actually 2 years old!!!!! Oh my, this is too fast for my liking.

I celebrated New Year Eve with Daddy and Mummy by shopping at Seiyu in Bugis. Mummy caved in to the shopping temptation and bought me my CNY clothes. Mummy has this notion that we must all wear red red on 1st Day of CNY so she got me a red Mickey Mouse romper and a denim Minnie Mouse skirt. So now Daddy gotta find himself a red red shirt / t-shirt for CNY! haha....

Mummy initially wanted to bring me to Robertson Walk to see fireworks and participate in the countdown. However, I was too busy fighting the zzz Monster that I had to give it a miss. So I welcome 2008 in my dreams instead. Mummy and Daddy finally had "some romantic" moments.

On New Year Day, I had my first swim in the afternoon. Mummy bought me a swimsuit and a sitting float. But hey, how come the water in the pool is so different from the water I usually had in the bathtub? The pool water is cold! Grrrr..... Luckily I was sitting on the float so only my legs were in water. Daddy and Mummy were busy taking pics of me in the water but I think my discomfort showed on my face and I was whisked out of the pool after 10 mins. Mummy also didn't want to risk me pooing in the baby pool! haha....

After the swim, we went down to Orchard Road for some window shopping. Daddy went to try out a very expensive jacket. Unfortunately or rather fortunately, they don't have the color that Daddy wanted so his pocket was not damaged. Instead, Mummy bought herself a dress (wat else but red) for CNY.

I must be tired from the swim, therefore, Daddy managed to capture a sweet clear pic of me.

Counting down to Christmas......

It's two days from X'mas..... I went to Taka to take pictures today... Here are the photos:

Three days before X'mas...

Daddy lost $50 dollars to this door which took the locksmith less than 30 sec to open...... sigh.

Ten days before X'mas...

We went to Marina Square to shop for presents which Mummy intended to give to her colleagues. I went there with 1 pair of purple socks but came back home with 3.5 pair of socks.... Why 3.5 pair? Well, a picture speak a thousand words!
