Birthday Cake - Pine Gardens (AMK Ave 10)

Haha.... you must have guessed this....

Yes, the cake was from Pine Gardens; the famous neighborhood cake shop in Ang Mo Kio Ave 10. The are known for their artistic "made-to-order" cakes for birthdays and special occasions. Mummy decided on the flavor and overall design concept for my cake which turns out exceptionally yummy......

The top layer of the cake was Lychee Martini flavor (1kg) while the bottom was Dark Chocolate flavor (2kg). The wordings on the cake were made from sugar icing.... nice.... Mummy purposefully chose the Piglet (from Winnie the Pooh) as the main theme of the cake design; i was born in the year of the Pig. :D

Though it was a small gathering among our immediate family, i thoroughly enjoyed myself with the mini celebration and the cake (of course!)

I am 1 year old!

After 365 days of growth, i am finally 1..... ;D

Vivocity

Right after Jayden's birthday party, we left for birthday cake hunting..... guess where we ended up? Yes, we went to Ang Mo Kio Ave 10..... :D If you are anxious to find out how my birthday cake looks like, stare hard at the "?" below for the answer......

After placing the order for my birthday cake, we went back to Grandma's place to rest our feet. If you are wondering if Daddy and Mummy are throwing me a birthday party, the obvious answer would be........... NO! Daddy is of the opinion that I am too "little" to appreciate the meaning to have a birthday party; while Mummy is worried that I will fall sick again (as i do fall sick easily).

Are you still staring at the question mark? Hee...... Honestly, I also do not have any idea how the cake looks like..... guess you have to join me in waiting for the answer on my birthday with is one week away!

Coming back to the headline of this posting...... Mummy insist that i have the event blogged..... Well, while Mummy and Daddy had their romantic set dinner at The Mussels Guys restaurant, i was left sitting in the baby chair drinking my tasteless milk. Seriously annoyed, I rejected feeding and left a deep impression before we left that place..... my Poo stench!

While Daddy ran out in a hurry looking for a changing room, Mummy chased after him laughing all the way. Once we reached the changing room, the stinkful truth revealed itself..... the poo had leaked from my pampers (this is the problem with pull-up pants) and stained my pants.

Struggling to hold their breath, Mummy and Daddy finished cleaning me up only to have me pee all over again..... Hahahaha...... This is fun! After cleaning me up the second time, Mummy decided that we should head home, just in case i start another prank on them again. Sigh... that is the end of fun time.

Here is my parting shot:

Jayden's 1st Birthday

I was invited to Jayden's 1st birthday party yesterday located at The Grassroot Club, next to Yio Chu Kang MRT. The was a huge playground meant for kiddos like me, but daddy was not keen of the idea having me play in it. Nevertheless, i had fun with the many aunties, uncles & babies at the party.

Jayden had a very lovely cake for his birthday; it was a two-tiered chocolate cum lycee martini cake from Pine Gardens. It was artistically created with lovely letterings and figurines of Disney characters. How i wish i could lay my lips on it...... hee....

1st posting in month of July 08

It's been a while since my last posting; Daddy has been busy on his new job while coping with his studies at the same time. Mummy is forever surfing the internet webpage of "Forever 21"; hogging the use of the computer most of the nights.

Good thing is that I am never bored, cos I am learning to walk now...... "Gai Gai" is currently my favorite phrase; it means shopping (or going out for a walk) in my limited adult lingo. With quite a number of things to post, I will split them up into different headlines. I shall end this post with the following picture:
